This paper, presented in ICON, gives five strong arguments to share staff-development and research in international collaboration in what is called ‘modules for forerunners’:
- It gives teacher/ researchers a platform for discussion and collaboration.
- The possibility to present and discuss the research proposals and innovative projects profoundly.
- Special guests toplevel can articulate and discuss state of affairs in learning/teaching in changing society and deepen the level.
- Developing and communicating a relevant international expertise network to underline the ambition of AEC moving upwards in ‘knowledge economy’.
- Giving the changing force in institutes, institutional change, an extra international support.
